I Am a Pirate Lightworker

by Andrew Gubb on May 22, 2010

Being a pirate lightworker is all about being a lightworker while not sucking at the same time.

I’ve made some pretty serious posts recently but here I’m going to let it all go. X)

Why should you be a pirate lightworker?

The first answer to that question is: why not?

The second answer is a bit more involved.

As you know I’m an indigo adult. I was born with a high vibration and the double-edged sword of being able to see society for what it really is. Despite my appearence, I am probably the most spiritual guy you’re going to meet in a long time.

As of 2010 I have:

Slept on the streets

Lost my virginity in a university chapel

Had sex with a lot of women (and intend on doing so with men too)*

Been thrown out of school (intentionally on my part)

Spent a week sleeping in a cave on a holy mountain

Spent two years doing nothing at all (sleeping, masturbating, and blowing my brains out on the internet… not meditating)

Went insane and masturbated on top of a cat

Started a few microbusinesses, trying to feel my way through the realm of independent income

Spent one month not washing my hair (and now I’m trying it again).*

I am unstable, unpredictable, unlikely and unseemingly. I am rampantly sexual. I am not a part of civilised society. And I am awesome.

I also want to save the world.

I know what’s going on here in this world. I see things most people don’t. I have an immense capability to love which most people just can’t match. I’m a great healer, a great creator, and a psychic.

Since when was being a lightworker all about being impeccable? Some people confuse “high vibration” with “socially acceptable”. What if your society is of a low vibration? Are we going to make this omlette without cracking any eggs? Do you think a high vibration person really cares about your rules and customs?

Me and my indigo friend Christian have something we call “the indigo test”. It involves acting like a crazy turkey or making the most crass crude humour possible. Indigo adults, who have no need to act in socially-approved ways, find this hilarious. Other people think the indigo adult is insane… while secretly wishing they could open up and have as much fun as him or her.

Dude, do you think God gives you extra points for bowing and scraping? Do you think the angels find your petty human society and its decorum important? What they value is love and happiness and fun and enjoyment. Those are the reasons we came to this plane.

So love and light has its place. “Namaste” has its place. Candles and incense are fun, and I like to wear white nowadays to reflect my identity. It’s no replacement for real love and real wisdom though. This is why I am a lightworker pirate.

A lightworker pirate doesn’t give a damn. He wants to save the world and heal everyone but he doesn’t want your approval while he is doing it. In order to set himself apart from the overly serious lightworker wannabes, he accompanies his reiki, his music, his message or his humanitarian leadership with a hearty ARRRR!!!!!!!!

Screw you, lightworkers.org. :)

*As of 05 July 2010, I have slept with a man and enjoyed it, and also my hair has started self-regulating, so I will never need shampoo again in my life.

I should mention that lightworkers.org is basically fake. The energy I got from it is that of a pretender who wanted to stroke their own ego by talking love and light out of their ass.

And that’s kind of why I like the “lightworker pirate” concept. We’re not whitewashing, we’re not pretending to be immaculate – as if we knew what really meant immaculate in the eyes of God. (I’m not saying knowing that, or approaching that knowing is impossible, I just feel that Lightworkers.org does not).

For me it’s much better to appear low consciousness in the eyes of the fake love and light gurus ON PURPOSE than to stray too much on the other end of the spectrum and be fake.

What you are being, and what your social mask is showing, are two different things.

I’ll write a more serious article about this later.

I am not sure how I ended up on this website, but here I am. I must say that I like your idea of a Pirate Lightworker. I agree with you when you said about Light Workers being mostly fake and full of shit, they seem to have an aversion to anything ‘negative’, something that must be hidden away and never talked about, instead of embracing and accepting what is, until that time that you transmute the energy or what not.

I too swear like a trooper, never used to, but sometimes (most of the time) this world is so damn frustrating, that the best thing you can say to pretty much anything and everything is FUCK.

So here is to the Pirate Lightworker, and bring me my bottle of fucking rum….lol

Sure, now let’s fucking well find some wenches to ravage… bwahaha.

Yup, there is a lot of liberation in being able to fuck it. I like primal roars too. I did them a few times while arguing with my parents the other day… that must have taken them aback. Thanks Jamie.

Love to you ya fucking landlubber!! ARRRGH!
